How is EP different from PEP?
The Employment Pass (EP) is employer-specific; it is tied to a particular company and must be reapplied for when you change employers. The Personalised Employment Pass (PEP), on the other hand, is not tied to any single employer, giving holders the freedom to switch jobs without reapplying for a new pass. The PEP is available to existing EP holders earning a fixed monthly salary of at least S$22,500, or to overseas foreign professionals earning the equivalent.
