First of all, this book has no dust jacket. Even the 1st edition had a different pattern. So that’s all I got for this 3rd edition, 4th printing from the UK. This is just an older book from the UK.
1753 British Act of Parliament printed in London by Thomas Baskett, printer to King George II, with the assigns of Robert Baskett. Titled Anno Regni Georgii II Regis Vicesimo Sexto. Act for the more effectual levying of duties upon windows or lights in Scotland, part of the historic British Window Tax legislation. Includes royal coat of arms woodcut and traditional black-letter parliamentary printing. Removed from a bound volume. Light age toning and edge wear consistent with 18th-century parliamentary acts. A great reference book, in poor well used condition. While there are several loose pages, I believe all pages are present. A friend used this to research their family and they’ve annotated some of the pages during that research.
