This is a heavily used vintage copy of Babbit by Sinclair Lewis. The binding is fine but the pages are old and fragile. There is heavy wear on the bottom of the spine and the first few pages have space but visible markings on them. (See pictures). Please let me know if you have any questions or want additional pictures. Thanks.
Arrowsmith is often described as the first “scientific” novel. Although he was not a doctor, Sinclair Lewis’s father was and he was greatly helped in the preparation of the manuscript by the science writer Paul de Kruif.
